20-04-2022 Dael Forrest, Hole in one on the 16th Hole –  long time member
Dael is a current Pennant Player representing West Lakes in the SA Pennants Competition.
Known around the traps as a Club Champion on multiple occasions not to mention
a Course Record holder.  Now notching up a Hole in One on our course as well !!

19-02-2022 John Burns, Hole in one on the 16th Hole – 3 years a member
John wins the Club Eagles Nest and the Pro Shop Hole in one Jackpot.
John is also a Pennant Player representing West Lakes Golf Club
in the annual Winter interclub Pennant series

12-02-2022 David Gee, Hole in one on the 15th Hole – 38 years a member
David wins the Club Eagles Nest and the Pro Shop Hole in one Jackpot 

02-02-2022 Bill Darling, Hole in one on the 8th Hole – 60 years a member joining in 1962
Bill was the Club Champion in 1964 and has been a Senior Pennant Player for our Club.
He won C Grade in the Wednesday pro competition with 41 points and the Club Eagles nest.

Bill was using his trusted 3 Fairway Club to score an ace at 88 years young.
He won a putter for another ace back  in 1964.
Bill & Wife, Liz lived opposite the club for many years and he was often seen in the practice facilities honing his skills throughout the years.

05-01-2022 Paul Thiele, Hole in one on the 8th Hole – 6 months a member
A new 7 day member and winner of the Pro shop Hole in one Jackpot.
Paul is the Operations Manager at ACIET Couriers

20 -12-2021 Jon Blazewicz, Hole in one on the 3rd Hole – 9 months a member
Jon is a new 5 day member and wins the Pro shop Hole in one Jackpot.

18 -12-2021 Peter Economou, Hole in one on the 8th Hole – 6 years a member
Peter is a Senior Pennant Player and plays at least twice weekly.
BBQ KIng and fundraising volunteer for the senior pennant team. Delicious!!
He shares the club competition Eagles nest and the Pro shop Hole in one Jackpot with David.

18 -12-2021 David Sutherland, Hole in one on the 16th Hole – 5 months a member
David is new member to our club and regular weekly competition player

08 -12-2021 Geoffrey Dawson, Hole in one on the 8th Hole – 12 years a member
Geoffrey is regular weekly player and his business is HydroJet Solutions have assisted us with ongoing clubhouse plumbing solutions.
He wins the club competition Eagles nest and the Pro shop Hole in one Jackpot.

22-11-2021 Riley Bonner, Hole in on one the 3rd Hole – 6 months as an elite sports member
Riley is new to our club and is often playing with his team mates on a Tuesday afternoon.
He is from the AFL – Port Adelaide Football Club and enjoys our course in between busy a football training schedule.

24 -09-2021 Warren Smith, Hole in one on the 3rd Hole – 11 years a member
Warren is a currently on our Finance committee and has also supported our club through sponsorship from his business SA Diversified Products.
He was in the Friday comp on the day.

20-10-2021Chris Hildyard, Hole in one on the 15th Hole – 5 years a member
Chris is a regular Wednesday player and has participated in our Social Golfing events during the years.
He was in the Wednesday mid week comp therefore he receives the Club Eagles nest from the 22/09/2021
Chris also won in the Pro Shop hole in one Jackpot!!

22-09-2021 Ron Hromin, Hole in on one the 16th Hole – 23 years a member
Ron has served on our Match committee and has a great understanding of all things Golf!!
He was in the Wednesday mid week comp therefore he receives the Club Eagles nest from the 20/9/2021

19-09-2021 Shaun Turnbull, Hole in on one the 16th Hole – 15 years a member
This is Shaun’s 2nd hole in one on the same hole in 14 months
Yes he was in the Sunday comp therefore he receives the Club Eagles nest from the 6/6/2021
Yes he backed himself for $1 won the Pro shop Hole in One Jackpot.

01-08-2021 Ali Holden – Hole on One on the 6th Hole
Ali was not playing in the comp, this is her1st Hoe in One, 
Ali is new to our Club and works in the Golf industry.

23-01-2021 – Kerry O’Connor – Hole In One
Apologies to Kerry as we missed his Hole in One from January
Kerry was in the Saturday Comp and will get the Eagles Nest
A West Lakes member for 13 years, this is Kerry’s – 2nd Hole in One

09-07/2021 Tony Coluccio – Hole on One on the 6th Hole
Tony was playing in the Friday Pro comp, this is his 1st Hoe in One, he has been playing golf for 25 years
Tony is a new Corporate Member his business is Modern Trailers – Pooraka and Lonsdale
They do Trailer manufacturing and supply.

01-07/2021 Bob Bond – Hole on One on the 3rd Hole
Bob wins the Pro shop hole in one Jackpot and was playing in the Thursday pro comp.
Bob has been a members for 7 years and plays regularly during the week.
Representing our Club in the Senior Pennant teams in the past years. 

05-06/2021 Geoff Whetstone – Hole on One on the15th Hole
This is Geoff’s 4th Hole in one over 4 decades in his golfing life
Geoff wins a Share of the Eagles Nest with Steve and the Pro shop hole in one Jackpot 
Geoff has been a members for 36.5 years and plays regularly during the week and on weekends.

05-06/2021 Steve Blight – Hole on One on the15th Hole
Steve wins a share of the Eagles nest with Geoff and the Pro shop hole in one jackpot 
Steve has been a members for 8.4 years and plays regularly during the week and on weekends.
Steve is our Current Chairman of Finance and serves on the Club Board.

04-06-2021 Gary Holmes –  Hole in One on the15th Hole Friday 
No Eagles nest but Gary won the Pro shop hole in one jackpot 
This Is Gary’s 5th Hole in One 
Gary has been a members for 39.6 years and plays regularly during the week.

25-05-2021 Mark Holland –  Hole in One on the 16th Hole 
This is Mark 1st Hole in One
Mark wins the Eagles Nest but was not in the Pro-Shop hole in one Jackpot.
This is Mark’s 1st Hole in One!!
Mark has been a members for 21 years playing when his Business allows – Holland Party Hire

09-05-2021 Graham Mazey –  Hole in One on 3^rd Hole 
No Eagles Nest but won the Pro-Shop jackpot.
Graham has been a members for 4.5 years and plays regularly during the week.

21-03-2021 Sue Clark  – Hole in One on the 8th Hole 
Sue has been a Laker for 14 years and has represented the club in the Women’s Pennant & Cleek Teams that play interclub over the winter season.
A regular player in our Women’s Tuesday Competition, The Twilight and Super 6 Shoot out event also with various couples on Sunday’s.
Sue wins the Eagles Nest and the Pro shop Hole in one Jackpot!!

11-02-2021 Laraine West  – Hole in One on the 3rd Hole 
Laraine has been a Laker for 10 years and has represented the club in the Cleek Team that play interclub over the pennant season.
A regular player in our Women’s Tuesday Competition and with the girls on a Thursday
This is Laraine’s 1st Hole in One !!

10-02-2021 Geoff Perkins – Hole in One on the 16th Hole in the Wednesday Competition
Geoff has been a Laker for 19 years and is currently serving on the Grounds Committee
This is Geoff’s 7th Hole in One in his golfing life, he wins the eagles nest and the pro shop hole in one Jockpot.

13-01-2021 Julie Low – Hole in One on the 3rd Hole in the Twilight Competition
Julie and Husband Gary are new members to our Club coming from South Lakes GC 
With Strong Ties to The Broken Hill Mob. This is Julie’s second HIO but the first was in a social round.

10-01-2021 Niko Loka – Hole in one on the 3rd Hole
Niko has been a Laker for 2 years coming from North Haven GC with a group of enthusiastic and talented golfers.
They say good things come in 3’s the next morning Niko won a $10 K jackpot and just missed the prize pool in the lotto by one number.
3 is really his lucky number , Niko won the Pro Shop Hole in one Jackpot and the Club eagles nest.

07-01-2021 Neville Thiele – Hole in one on the 3rd Hole
Neville is a Port Adelaide Footballer & Cricketer now a new Laker!!
Playing with The POPS Neville wowed the boys with an Ace on the Lucky 3rd Hole

03-01-2021 Paul Dini – Hole in one on the 3rd Hole
Paul has been a member for 10 years a 7 day player who enjoys the challenges of your course.
As a low handicapper Paul works at his game often in the late afternoons.
When he can make time from his  busy Optometrist Business at the National Pharmacies  Hendon and Findon
Paul won the Pro Shop Hole in one Jackpot and the Club eagles nest.

Trevor has been a Laker for 12 years as a 7 day member, playing regularly during the week and on weekends
I’m sure there were a few Hedonist’s uncorked after the round.

Is no longer a member but luv’s our course and plays as a visitor with other travelling Korean Golfers.
Mi was an award winning player in the women’s community when she was here.

20-12-2020 Sean McInerney – Hole in one on the 8th Hole
A Laker for the past 12 months and a member at Grange GC.
Sean won the Pro Shop Hole in one Jackpot and the Club eagles nest.
Sean’s Mum Glenda has been a member of our Club for 22 years with Dad John well know to our Club.
Starting to play golf when he was 6 years old under parental guidance of course!!!

Susan’s mother Barbara McMullen was women’s Captain 1997-1999 and long time members of our Club.

24-06-2020 – Paul Vincent, Hole in One on the 8^TH Hole – 11 yrs membership
Paul was in the Wednesday Comp and Wins the eagles nest, Hole In one Trophy and Certificate.
He also entered into the On Course Pro Shop – Hole in one Competition on the day and won the jackpot!!
Interesting story here…apparently Ed Shipton hit off after Paul on the 8^th and his ball actually bounced into the hole only to bounce out, looks like when Ed’s ball bounced into the hole it must have landed on Paul’s ball and bounced straight out again.
